Christian/Spiritual

Christian/Spiritual

With everything that's happening in the world today, from catastrophic events, government disorder, wars, famines, economy breakdown, global warming, food poisoning, diseases, and complete world wide upheaval, many people now are finally turning toward Christianity.

But is it too late? Can we still undo all the damage that we have created over the centuries? Or was all this destined to happen right from the beginning?

I have been of a Christian faith most of my life, but it has only been just recently that I have really dug down deep into what it really is and how it began. Over the last 6 months, I have learned more than I thought I knew. Even more than I truly cared to know at this time. But it has helped me to have a deeper understanding about myself and even life in general.

Whether you are Christian or nonChristian, some of the things I have learned and discovered will completely amaze you.

What's the one aspect of this broken world that you just can't stand? Social injustice? Drugs? Wrecked marriages? Incurable Diseases?  Standing in line at the grocery store can be a moment when we look at our fellow bystanders, talk to God about them and say a silent prayer of blessing for them. For some, that may be the only prayer they receive all day.

For ages, people have speculated about how the world will end. Between Bible prophecies and today's headlines many people are beginning to view things much differently than they did only a short time ago. Jesus promised He would return to bring judgment and set up His kingdom, and He even reveals specific details about what will happen. What are those details? What can we expect? Are there clues we may have missed? This is a captivating reality for Christians and nonChristians alike.

The most important issues facing Christians in today's materialistic world, bringing to the surface the subtle temptations that confront us as adults the dangers we absolutely must teach our children how to recognize and deal with if they are to lead God-centered lives. Pride, Jealousy and Envy, Insecurity, Compromise, Unforgiveness, Sexual Sin and Laziness

From the Mayan calendar and the Bible to the I-Ching, many ancient systems point to December 21, 2012 as the end of chaos and the beginning of a new era of consciousness. Recent events are also fueling this notion as scientists try to explain the unprecedented number of hurricanes, tsunamis, and extreme weather conditions seen around the world.
